Getting from Sydney Airport to the University of Wollongong Innovation Campus

Travelling from Sydney Domestic Airport to Wollongong is simple and comfortable by train, there’s no need to worry about tickets or complicated transfers.

 

From the Domestic Airport Train Station, Platform 2, tap on with your credit or debit card (no Opal card required) and board a T8 train heading towards the city.

 

At Wolli Creek Station, make one quick and easy change to the South Coast Line (SCO), Plattform 4 towards Wollongong.

 

Then, just sit back and relax! The whole journey takes around 2 hours, with trains running roughly every 30 minutes throughout the day. As you get closer to Wollongong, you’ll be treated to beautiful coastal and ocean views, a lovely way to start your visit.

 

If you are headed straight to the Innovation Campus, you have 2 options

1. Fairy Meadow - From there it is 1.2km so either a ~16 min walk  or a short taxi, Uber ride, or

2. Wollongong station and catch the 55A bus that stops in front of the
